The Grading System is unfair for Junglers

I am a jungle main, and mainly play tanks (Zac Hecarim ) And I have had some amazing games lately. But the grade on those games was extremely inaccurate. I know S ranks should be hard but I was a bit tilted after these 2 games:

Zac : 7/1/27 Jungler, 97 CS B+ Grade. (36:05) B+ is ridiculous. For any other role this is atleast an A+ or S-. And the only reason because of this, is because of my CS. Jungle cs is different then normal cs, monsters are harder to kill. Why cant you count jungle monsters as worth more CS? Maybe a jungle CS stat seperate from minion cs? Heck, I wouldnt care if it was hidden, I just want there to be something done about it.

Rammus : 4/1/25 Jungler, 119 CS A+ Grade. (34:39) I am not that mad at this one, but what is so stupid is how this is a full letter grade higher than a better performance on Zac. BECAUSE OF 22 CS. It seems like 50% of your grade is CS. And when you are a jungler, cs is hard to come by. I am not mad that I got an A+ on this. I am using this as an example of how cs is too big into your grade.

In conclusion, cs counts a lot in teammate grade, and it is unfair for jungle mains. It is harder than all the laners to get S rank, and it should be equal. Thinking about it, this is probably even harder for supports, regarding how they get even less cs than junglers. I think riot should make a change to make it equal to get S rank. I know it is supposed to be hard, but it should be equal for all champions. I know it is just a stupid little thing, but I want to have bragging rights to show how much of a god I am on Zac.

When you play say Zac Jg.

Your grade is taken from everyone else in your region that has played Zac Jg. An S+ is like your game was in the top 1-5% of the entire region compared to other Zac Jg's.

When the system first came out. I was getting an S+ on Thresh every game. Now I have to work on it because better and better games come out always making it harder to get that S.

Thanks, I was completely unaware of that.

How long were the games, b/c for something ~30 minutes (which seems average) both those cs #s are quite low, the 97 being very low

Both were around 35 minute games there was only 2 minutes more on the zac game I will edit my post to include that

Then that just confirms it was the low cs/minute. And FYI you are compared to other players of that champ in that role, so you were being compared w/ other Zac jg's on the grade. Jungle pathing is very important to learn and get good at, so you can clear your jg fully and get all the gold/xp and have opportunities to look for ganks.

I notice it a lot in my elo (low lol) that junglers often neglect their farm and have poor CS because they think ganking is all their is to do, and this is just not efficient, keep practicing and learn to make the most of the resources available to you as the jungler while still maintaining map presence to help lanes and contest objectives.

False. You are being compared to Jungle Zac and Jungle Rammus.

You don't know what the areas you are being compared to in the first place, and certainly not what area you were failing in so you cannot even begin to start making statements about an area being "unfair", nevermind all the other areas you can be deficient in such as kill participation, damage dealt, damage tanked, dragons slain and so on that you are not even thinking about.

Before posting, I thought it was only KDA and CS. Thanks for clearing more of that up.

It also counts how much you warded. In 35 minutes you need 15-20 wards. As for supports, they only need 20+ cs roughly to get a S-. It honestly is very easy to get high ranks on supports.

Didn't know that, thanks.

I strongly disagree. I feel that laners have the most difficult time getting their S ranks. This is because lane performance tends to be a little more inconsistent, because laners won't always win lane. As a jungler, it's easier to get fed because you can choose when and who to gank, and the farm requirements for getting an S on a jungler are lower because junglers will usually get lower farm per minute than a laner who is actively farming. I have lv7 hecarim, khazix, and shyvana; to get the S ranks for those mastery levels, I simply farmed as often as possible, ganked as early as possible, and continued farming the entire game. If you want an S on a jungler, I would shoot for about a KDA of 5 and about 6 farm per minute. You can manually check your farm for minute or simply check op.gg (they calculate your farm per min next to the actual amount of farm you had)

I can see where you are coming from, but even after that arguement, Laners get more cs. Junglers have more kill potential. still 50/50

Yes, thats tru, but remember that ur matched up against other ppl playing the same champ. If ur jungling on a meta jungle, ppl in ur region will most likely have cs that a typical jungler would get. Remember to ALWAYS tax lanes. If it pisses off ur laners to the point where they threaten to disconnect or int, stop. But if they don't say anything, always take their cs after ganks.

Also, I just looked at ur match history. It seems like u have higher kill participation than average on ur jg games but at the same time, ur farming is awful. If ur not ganking, make sure ur always headed to ur next camp or some other source of farm
