How do you beat Tryndamere with Riven?
What runes (TLD or Fervor) should I use? What items should I get (should I buy armor or still go full offense)?
Prior to 6 you can Q in, auto, W Stun, auto, shield out... and repeat this to whittle him down. But I hit 6 and I have 1/3 more health than him, he still kills me because he goes Undying.
How do you out-combo him past 6?

Senpai Negro1 votesYeah you have the right idea just Q W AA E out rinse and repeat. At 6 I actually cheese Trynd by hiding my Windslash with Q so instead of the 250 damage he expects its actually 400+. It usually catches most Trynd's off guard the first time but they usually learn their lesson the 2nd time so it won't work. Also I like to run lethality on this match up with TDLR. It just catches Trynd off guard more with the sudden burst. But doing this you have to pray he doesn't get a few lucky early crits in or you're fucked.
Cybernetic Ghost1 votesCast Ignite on him right before his ult completes (not at the beginning of his ult--time it as best as you can). If you do it right, the Ignite will kill him every time.

MLDzXnRRR1 votesYou beat him by doing damage and then running. If Trynda is smart, he will E after you and return the damage. Later you can 1shot burst him, if he doesn't press R on time. He outscales you really hard, so finish the game on time and don't allow him to splitpush too much. He can close the game ignoring you and your team.
