Towers, and Farming CS
So right now the game is not playable in the way it use to be. What I mean by this is normally you would farm your cs til you feel you can have a impact on your trades or teamfights, but because of how easy towers can be taken down, and how weak they are when damaging enemy champs at low levels you are limited on how long you can farm for. This also makes jungle even harder to play because if the lanes can't farm then the jungle can't farm because of towers dropping. I have played enough matches, and I can say right now almost always on the dot. around 6:57 to 8:57 is where one lane will always be in a fight, and farming CS comes to a halt for everyone until the push is stopped or til the push gets the inhib. Now some may say there is no issue here, but that is not correct.
When fights break out, and gold farming comes to a halt the players have no impact on changing the match around even with good skill because they don't have items with there plays. At this point the players that want to do something can't and they are left with 2 options. 1) is surrender once the time hits 15 or 2) let the enemy team end the game. You would think there would be a third option to farm and get items, but that would mean ignoring the enemy team that is almost to the first inib.
I am all for fights, and winning in all kinds of different ways, but if you can't farm to get items for whatever champ you choose to play how can you play the game without feeding repeatedly over and over?
So how do you win these kind of matches like this? You have to pick champs that have very heavy cc, and don't need 1 or 2 full items. How is the game healthy if your limited on playing only a few champs and not all of them? Riot has made some items cheaper, but its not enough when your stuck waiting for that gold to tick knowing you can't farm the lanes safely.
Back in the day towers use to take time to take down and that led to the game having a pace that allowed all champs to be played no matter if they are weak early or late game, but now that the game has changed so much, and towers can drop at 5 mins, and thanks to rift being at 10 mins the rest of the towers will down right after, many players are limited to playing very few champs that can keep up with that kind of fast pace.
Ruins also played a big role back in the day for early ganks, and players that enjoyed 4v2 bot. Back in the day players would take MR ruins and Armor ruins with there builds, and that would help a lot with those early big fights, but now that we don't have any ruins like that you are left with giving that tower or feeding that 4v2 because of the towers not doing much damage in those fights.
These issues that I posted have been around enough time, and should have been changed, but it hasn't. Another issue I see is the resolv tree. That tree has nothing to give a player to help with those 4v2 fights or 5v2 fights. Why? I could never understand why they didn't put really any flat MR or Armor on that tree. All of the trees have mini cooldowns on all the things you would use to help. I know the spell that gives a little armor in resolv has a long cooldown, and it makes no sense. I would understand the high cooldown if it gave a lot of armor. But the amount it gives is so small for such a short time.
Many here may say I am wrong. Many might say they agree. How ever I know one thing to be true no matter what you say to me. League can not be played the normal way it use to be with any champ you want to play. You will be limited to champs that can keep up with the current pace of the game.
