I left LoL in March of last year, just before the Evelynn rework and before Ornn but after Kayne's release.
I just want to know is this game fun? Is it possible to have fun as a solo player?
Is the game being actively helped by Riot in more than 1 way (reports, forums, etc).
It's not fun and you will not enjoy it. I am being honest with you. I had a lot of friends return after a year or a few months off and the game is worse. The Scuttle changes shifted the entire feel and champion pool of the JG. It is too the point that you can only play one type of jungler now or you will fall behind. New champion and popular champions still get the prioritized reworks. It is what it is. The Developers are not going to change.
Depends on how you play the game I guess. I play with a friend most of the time, but whenever I go solo I could still enjoy it very much as long as there's a friendly atmosphere among the team. This is actually key for me in order to enjoy a game, whether winning or losing. If I detect a toxic environment it's an automatic /muteall.
The game was never not fun.
The game is not something you can get better at anymore because you have 2-4 weeks to learn the game before it's uppended again with the next patch. The game is not something you can solo carry anymore unless you are so far above your opponents in skill that it's ludicrous. Despite my hundreds (thousands?) invested in the game I just decided that it's time to play something else. None of my favorite streamers are playing league right now. This patch was the nail in the coffin for Riot Games' first game.
