Aatrox just...does not feel good at all

In my opinion, aatrox is the worst feeling champion in the game. He has nothing going for him whatsoever, and he ESPECIALLY fails at any sort of "power fantasy" there is. If he's supposed to be a drain tank, he's actually awful at it, if he's a splitpushing skirmisher, pick any other skirmisher and do better. I want to know, what does aatrox bring to the table that others don't?

And I do know of the buffs on PBE, but those still won't help him much. Stuff like adding in a way to STAY hellbent when laning, going hellbent immediately if you ult, an actual passive when he's not hellbent, those kinds of things would help.
