I just want to say I love the item, LOVE IT. It is sooooooo good you can literally buy it (and should) on anyone that builds ap to do tons of damage.

Wish the effect particles were more... cool. Hardly notice them :(
Luden's rewards movement and AoE spells. Lux and Lulu see little usage from it, their kits are a more support-oriented kit, regardless of lane they're used in - there are much better options.
Why use it on an immobile mage like 
? I can't think of a single reason to replace one of the more useful items to be building.
Works well for on-hit, mobile and AoE champions like 
, for some examples.
There are, however, much better options than Luden's for a fair variety of AP champions.
The title is very misleading. Im not sure what your point is. You love it but it "missed the mark", sarcasm?
Does leblanc's teleporting count as movement for luden's echo? It'd be pretty scary on her if so.
Anyone could buy dfg and have stupid burst from it. DFG was toxic, this item is a good replacement for it but its not broken.
