ok. the badness you see in Ranked games bronze needs to stop. Ive been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to train people to do better. I know there is beginner and intermediate AI bot games...but what about GOD bots? AI programs where the bots are created to be all but unbeatable. where REAL teamwork MUST be used to overcome them, not just have 1 gold / plat smurf that can carry the whole team.

They actually had those for awhile. Bots were incredibly smart with flash, dodged every skillshot, warded, and knew how much damage output they had. I actually lost a few games to intermediate AI at the time haha.

Eventually the bots were nerfed down, apparently they were too good.

Doombots. Bring those back and it might help people train. Especially to dodge. Only problem with bot AI in general is they are extremely prone to splitpushing, but that takes teamwork in itself so yeah.

An amazing one.

When dealing with AI from a programming perspective: the issue isn't making an AI good, it's making an AI that's terrible and beatable but still feels like the AI is trying.

It takes a lot of effort to, say, make an AI blind and behave like a person with no information when dealing with brush/fog of war/invisibility/smoke clouds. It takes no effort to make an AI completely ignore those elements and know exactly where everything is all the time. At least if the AI is capable of detecting where enemies are in the first place, you just don't add in any code to prevent them from detecting things under certain circumstances.

Also worth noting programming behavior is actually called Scripting. Due to computer's capacity to figure out a wide range of mathematical equations with little effort, an AI could also easily achieve perfect CS, dodge everything that they have any chance of dodging, know exactly when to use skills like Flash to dodge something, and make a lot of correct decisions with frame-perfect timing. Also Aim-bots. With enough time and reviewing pro footage: it would be quite possible to create a LoL AI where no human is realistically capable of beating them.
