AP Varus - what do I do now? (and other on-hitters)

I've stared at the new items and they seem to spell doom for one of my favorite off meta builds. With neutered, my aoe team fight shred has come down to complete reliance on my ult. has been removed and the new just feels ratty due to it being . Overall mana was slightly nerfed as well as AD. was nerfed and just seems like a terrible item for Varus as it is a very 1v1 focused item. (it's attack speed is also just really inferior to old ) Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but I feel jipped by these changes. Is there any hope? CAN SOMEONE GUIDE ME TO THE VALLEY OF AP/AS?
