Vayne discussion, buff or nerf?

So I'm looking at the marksman update and I wanted to pose a question.

With the changes, Vaynes base AD is getting hit pretty hard. It will be going from 50 – 106 to 55.88-85.76

On the other hand, Vaynes silver bolts will be going from 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+ 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8% of target's maximum health) to 6/7.5/9/10.5/12% (40/60/80/100/120 min cap)

To try and put this into context, lets take who starts with a base health of 468. Previously, silver bolt proc would deal around 38.72/53.40/68.80/82.76/97.44 with silver bolts at ranks 1-5 respectively. Now however the minimum damage would override the % health damage, that being 28.08/35.10/42.12/49.14/56.16. The % health damage actually won't outweigh the minimum damage until you have surpassed 667/800/889/952/1000 health with each rank.

In conclusion, while Vayne has lost a noticeable amount of AD, her true damage does deal slightly more per proc. So I pose the question.

Was the AD nerf worth the buff to silver bolts?
