Is Aatrox actually viable this season?
I love him very very much, and so far he seems to really benefit from the changes to certain items this season. Any ideas on his viability?

He is viable. The masteries allow him to be tanky OR high damage. The problem I've had with aatrox is that he's an early-mid game champ. IMO, he still is. Given this, he's stronger, and the early game has the potential to be the leading cause of a lost game now, so yeh.
but when you think about it, every champion is viable if you play it right.
Hes still outclassed by the likes of jax, irelia or the super tanks like mundo and shen.
