How is this promo match remotely fair
I mean, seriously. My team all silver and 1 gold player, enemy team all mid gold and a plat player.
How is this even remotely fair when promo to gold v...

Sorry for your tough game. I wish you luck before November. I failed my Gold5 promo 3-4 times now. So I quit for this season. But my last one had Diamonds in it.... (this is flex, they were solo dias).
Nothing to do with Promo matches. It's just that the Plat guy was duo'ing with one of the Gold 5, and that Gold 5 probably has a terrible MMR much below Gold 5, because he barely has a 45% winrate overall. And the Plat guy itself as a Gold 5 MMR.
All in all, it was a team of climbing high Silver with Gold 5/Silver 1 MMR versus a team of Hard stuck low Gold with Gold5/Silver 1 MMR. Nothing unfair.
