Dear Riot: Any plans to add a "damage shielded" stat or "damage mitigated"

I am sure it has been asked a thousand times before, but I am just wondering if it "might" happen, or if it is off of the table completely, a damage shielded stat would feel really good for many support players who's impact to a game might not always feel as obvious, especially if their score looks bad (no kills, many deaths only assists), but they might have shielded 20K worth of damage and helped win the game!

I have had many games where I spend the whole time "denying" kills, but the person I am saving leaves the fight, someone else joins and I don't even get the assist. So by end of game I might have 1:9:5 compared to a team score in the 30's, but it doesn't mean I didn't have more of an impact, I was just spending more time saving people, securing or protecting objectives than securing kills

Damage mitigated I think would be nice too, right now we have damage taken, but a taric with 350 armour against a full AD team, (or rammus or the 600 armour Malph's i have seen lately) would have taken less damage than an ADC or a fighter champ, and look like they were not tanking as much, because 70% of the damage they would have taken was successfully mitigated, so another way of looking at it is "true damage taken" maybe, but that might be confusing.

It would be a nice stat to consider for tanks, and would help lower elo players at least would considering their build. They might realise that their build wasn't as effective as they thought, and maybe replace a Thorn with a Frozen heart to get different buffs or something.

Anyway, while it would be nice, the second one is not so big a deal, but I really do think we need a damage shielded statistic for players. Champs like Ivern and Taric who's shield mechanics are a little different, do always looks like they've done as much as they have.

PS: a bonus one would be "CC Lockdown/Time" the duration to which you have kept enemy players under hard cc. This would be interesting to have, though I think less impactful than the shield stat

I think that is part of their long term goal they said they have for Supports this year.

They will never do it because the second they realize karma and janna are blocking close to 40k damage a game, they will have to nerf them and they never want to nerf supports no matter how toxic they are.

This will actually tell me how bad I am at support. When I play Janna or Thresh I always assume my adc can sidestep some really telegraphed abilities so I hesitate to throw the shield and waste mana... then they take half their hp gone and I throw the shield after and they get mad at me lmao. Sigh, supporting is just not my thing.

Another one I want is to fix healing done to show lifesteal. I mean, 3k healing done by nasus in a 50 minute game...sure.
