first it was a minute

then it was 2 minutes

then 3 minutes

now im damn near reaching 4 minutes each time i queue for ranked.

i wonder why

Because of the new champion select!

The old champion select needed to find 10 people from about the same ELO to put together.

The new champion select has to find 2 players who have primary/secondary toplane, jungle, midlane, bottom and support.

Let's say we have: 100 players Queueing toplane 100 players queueing jungle 200 players queueing midlane 150 players queueing ADC 50 players queueing Support

Now we can start 25 games.

There are 50 toplaners, 50 junglers, 150 midlaners, 100 ADC players and 0 support players in queue, waiting for a match.
