........... Assassin main? Only reason I can think of why you'd refer to them as a target and not a champion.

Because everyone knows the solution to a balance nightmare class is for everyone to just have to build tank all the time, even other assassins! Especially during laning phase before that power spike all-in. Especially ADC's. We love it when ADC's habitually use items that were meant for actual tanks and bruisers. That's the opposite of a problem. It's the solution to a problem!

Feels like shit when a Zed rekts my full tank rammus due to the sheer amount of.mobility and armor pen.

the problems with assassins is that they dont pop one target on high cooldowns like they are supposed to, they all have AoE's and can nuke a whole team on low cooldown
