73 games played means nothing. People in their placement rounds can be placed with anyone varying from bronze to gold normally. More often it is in bronze to silver ranks..... gold is for those that won like 7/10 and still have their 3 games still to go kinda thing.... the better you play the higher you get ranked. You I suppose fall under the "Bronze/Silver" area and so you will occasionally be playing against and with first timers.

Yup. Total "horse shit" as you say when someone gets paired up with someone who lost 73 games. Not saying you have or have not, but I have over 1.6k wins and could potentially be paired up with you. About 200 or so ranked wins and about 1.4k or so normal wins..... does that mean im totally awesome and can beat anyone i go against? No, because my ratio is honestly about 1:1 in win to loss. So my total games played is over 3.2k. Some have more some have less, I still play with and against newbies. It helps integrate newer players with older players so the knowledge of the older players can be spread around to the newer players. The newer players could still beat the older players if they are good enough from normals.
THAT is why "games played" is useless and irrelevant information.

aciddemons2 votesPeople just have higher MMR sometimes, that or they're playing with friends who are ranked. There's also the possibility that their op.gg profiles haven't been updated for an extended period of time (considering that one of the players is level 27). Remember, the majority of ranked players are actually in silver so what happened to you isn't a glitch or completely unlikely.
Also, blacking out your name on the screenshot (like at the top) doesn't really do anything considering everyone can still see your summoner name when you post the thread.

No, you get an MMR based on playing normals that categorizes you for ranked. If they were doing well on your way to level 30 then you invisible MMR will rise. When you get to do ranked they will place you against players comparable to that MMR. Normal and Ranked MMR then diverge over time, but if this was a new account they are pretty synonymous.

PLs dont post, if you dont know...Every new player has their starting mmr.Wich was 1200 elo ,in old elo system.Normal games has nothing to do with ranked mmr.

WTBeGirl100EUhr1 votesop.gg does not always update in real time. The level 27 will be level 30, and both of the players with 0 ranked games played almost certainly have ranked games played. You could be match-made into a game of that ELO on your first ranked game, as your starting MMR is usually around Silver 5.
As a player in silver, you should be match-made with people who are unranked all the time because the game recognises your skill as being the same as someone who has just reached level 30. Players who win a high percentage of their provisional games even get matched against gold players.
Thems the breaks. You, with your 73 games played, are not considered a better player than the ones with 0 games played because your performance over those 73 games reflects that.
