Learning to carry before going into ranked

So Ive gotten pretty good at some champions, Nasus, Jax, Yi. (Mainly nasus)

I used to play ranked on a diff couple of accounts a few months ago and Ive gotten in various ranks of silver and another account in bronze.

People tell me if youre not "bronze material" you should be able to carry yourself out of bronze (and I am not as you can see my other account is Silver 2).

But I just dont know how to deal with trolls. Ive seen people lulu adc and feed, soraka jg and feed, click jg and forget smite, afk, today during a game 4 team mates were chasing miss fortune mid while enemy udyr was just taking down our turrets and inhibitors and no one was paying attention to my pings.

It happens in more than 50% of my games and I just dont know how to pull the bronze account out of bronze.

You can look at my match history and with the champs I main, I always make a positive impact on my team. Ignore lulu and people I am just testing out.

From streamers like Trick 2G and Sirhcez I learn to focus on the Gatez. i.e objectives, but so many times my team is so clinically obsessed with having to team fight (and they all die) , I dont know what to do.

unless you're a support main then you just hope and pray your adc isnt trash

All I can remember is an example game of Me nasus top, syndra mid, lee sin jg, twitch adc and soraka support Vs Their team with "riven" top, "jinx adc", thresh support, etc etc.

Twitch and soraka both died before minions even spawned and then pretty much died 1-2 times per minute up to 10 minutes. By 11 minutes they lost both their turrets. Lee sin was like 1/5, they were about 1/11 each. They would altnernate basic attacking thresh and ashe.

I was nasus I killed riven once or twice and had about 130 stacks but I couldnt do anything. I went to bot lane to help then died because they wouldn't go in with me, and they couldnt hold the lane either.

How does even a challenger player carry that?

Despite the myth that Nasus is good in low elo this isn't really the case. Nasus is very unlikely to snowball, he is all about farming his stacks to become a god mid game. But see, that doesn't matter if your bot lane hard feeds before you can make an impact as Nasus.

I'd recommend simple champs that can get super fed in lane and carry, like Garen.

Back in the day, when I wasnt level 30, I used to main garen, The problem I had garen was his counters, teemo, sometimes darius, mundo, sometimes illaoi, rarely atrox.

With nasus I havent really met a true top lane counter. I am able to win lane against rivens teemos, dariuses, mundos, (sometimes fiora is a bitchh but not usually ). WIth garen its just hard to beat some of those.

I understand what you mean by garen carry but hes also tough to use against certain champs.

The reason I love nasus is his wither, and then with the gauntlet, his Q slows them down too. And his q does so much damage.

Usually nasus can beat anyone 1 v 1, but if not you can even kite some of the mele champs.

Nice. I like it. But to be fair... a challenger player would probably draw the attention of more than half the enemy team and not die while doing so. This fact alone would probably win the game. And probably a challenger player wouldn't Teleport bot lane to initiate a fight with the expectation that his team would chip in and carry him and that's especially true if the enemy bot lane was fed! He would Teleport if he thought he could secure a kill without dying and without having to rely on his team in the process.

Absolutely that was a mistake I knew I was making, But I just wanted to dicuss prospects. They lost two turrets in bot lane, and the third inhibitor turret was being worked on at 11 minutes. The enemy jungler was finishing off midlanes first turret. And I was slowly battling with riven. Winning, but I couldnt just finish lane so quickly.

In that case what would a challenger player do?

I should probably add on, it is tough for any nasus to beat a riven multiple times in just a few minutes early game.
