No Rengar nerfs this patch? Why has he been allowed to exist in his current state for this long?

Thing is, they aren't sure how to nerf him without making him useless. I hate him too, but do you have any options that won't gut him?

Riot hasn't hesitated to gut unhealthy champions in the past, so what's so special about rengar?

LCS and LCK pros like playing him thats why. its called bias. Notice how often unpopular champions such as Swain and Karthus get nerfed for being the slightest bit strong but Rengar, Lee and Zed remain always in the viable zone of strength and are rarely touched by nerfs.

The difference between rengar and the other champions you mentioned is rengar has a more linear kit with only a few options. He is picked right now BECAUSE he is strong, but when he isn't strong he isn't picked. See his pick/play numbers pre-rework when Kha'Zix was the stronger of the two options. Champions like Zed and Lee will always have some measure of popularity based on the flexibility of their kits as much as i hate to admit it.

True, I've a;ways bounced from Rengar to Kha for my junglers because one always seems strong when the other is gutted. lol.

i dont get why people are complaining so much about rengar now that he is pretty balanced. compared to when he was first released where he could basically 1 shot a volibear from full hp to 0 , or go tank with still having burst and having a decent ap ratio to be a viable ap champion in season 3-4 . to where he was completely gutted and removed most of his tanking and make him useless by the mid season 4. because people complain that he is too strong (currently) to be able to do what an assasin does which is one shot someone. he is the most balanced he has been right now because if you take away from what he has right now without proper compensation he is going to become useless again
