Isnt it kind of backward to give Cass a fixed Range on an ability that should stop mobility?

When the cass mage update rolled in i remember reading: The mage you pick against mobility (along those lines). Now i feel like against those champs with a lot of mobility and dashes she will be unplayable. Imagine a Zed: You Q, he dodges it with ult and stands right next to you. You have literally no way to poison him again and your E's will do minimal damage. Before the rework, you could just use the Miasma on yourself and Zed would garantueed to be poisoned. You wouldnt lose damage and actually had a chance to fight back.

I cant see me ever blindpicking or picking Cass into the likes of fizz or Zed. Maybe LB would still be doable. Im not saying those were great matchups - but they were possible if you were used to Cass.

It feels wierd that an ability thats designed to stop mobility, is on a champion that will easily get countered by mobility.

Sure, Cass should have a weakness - but she already has plenty imo. High mana costs, no dashes and a very defensive ult that only gets offensive with flash.

I havent played the Pbe, since im very busy with university at the moment, so i cant say im 100% right on this (i do hope im wrong) but this is what my gut and experience on Cass tells me.

I know nothing is final. And btw, credit where credit is due - Miasma LOOKS STUNNING. Hell of a good job to whoever designed it. Loving it.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Love ya.

Standing next to a wall will remedy your worries. New Miasma stops at terrain.

Miasma on a zed in melee range with current Cass means you're still dead. His burst will beat your damage and the slow is pathetically weak. You have to blow your R on live servers and you will have to blow your R after the update.

Also, you obviously want to open the trade with your W and use your Q after he blinks to you. He NEEDS to dash away from your W or he's dead in the water and then you know exactly where he's popping up for your Q.
