You may be right, but Draven has nothing in his kit that gives him any sustain or tankiness. Which suggests that the problem is with the items.

Was about to comment the same. Draven does damage. That's about it.

Items just happen to work so well off his damage that he gets that sustain.

Put those items on any adc and they will be hard too kill.

The worst part is riot doesn't seem to notice this. This has been going on 4 patches.

Thornmail is garbage and has been garbage for a very long time, Tabi isn't a counter to draven in the least, considering he also has access to the same last whisper items that other AD champions do, and Mortal reminder means fuck all when he can 3 shot your ADC

100 armor isn't garbage. It's passive is still good though. If he can even get in range of attacking your adc then you're not doing a good job protecting them. 10% damage reduction on him? That's quite a bit.

100 armor literally means nothing for tanks anymore. Health got nerfed for them during the tank update, making an already weak armor item less attractive of a purchase, not to mention lifesteal completely negating it's passive to begin with. Tabi has already been nerfed, and is on it's way out as the holy shit everyone buy this item.

Going back, Draven doesn't need to get in range of your ADC, he is more than happy to shred whoever is closest to him considering tanks dies much faster than they used to
