ive known for awhile that its a darius meta. i found malphite as the counter

darius prob could use some nerfs. since its unfair that only 1-2 champs "counter him". i was spammig darius and doing tank j4 as a counter (since j4 can dash away from pulls easily)

until i met that malphite

he ran ignite+TP. froze near his tower all game. and use his ultimate to escape ganks (his ultimate is basically a lower cooldown flash, and you cant kill him before lvl6 if hes smart and freezes)

so malphite theoretically does not need flash in toplane. flash is overrated on him

i couldnt kill him. he couldnt kill me

then. teamfights started

malphite build was gauntlet, thornmail, warmogs, zzrot, visage, ninja tabi

he pressed R on our adc. ignited him. and our adc was GONE

i realized in that moment. 6item malphite > 6item darius in 5v5. and he could also 1v1 me easily with his godlike armor

our team had syndra mid / rumble jungle so he needed that extra MR

he was running attackspeed reds, scaling hp yellow. 15% cdr quints, 5% scaling cdr blues, 18 MR sclaling

lategame he was a god. and in lane, i couldnt kill him at all
