With Last Whisper getting kicked in the cajoles due to the swap over to bonus armor (you need about 700 bonus armor to break even with the old Whisper, just to mention) AD Assassins are losing a pretty valuable damage tool.
To that end, some flat armor penetration booties would really help put a little extra oomph in their burst rotation that will be lacking now that Whisper has gotten a much deserved nerf.

That just demonstrates how utterly broken Last Whisper is on live.
fééd l0rd1 votesLook, you can get 7% Armor pen from runes, 20 from yomouu's and way more ad on it. Last Whisper now lets you burn down squishies easier (cause they will get BONUS armor from defensive items like Zhonias or Randuins) and you can heal yourself with using abilities while fighting because of Death's Dance.
Have you played an assassin on the pbe? I did and it worked perfectly..
KaisadiIIa3 votesNope. Last Whisper as it is on PBE does nothing to squishy champions (45 armor from Zhonya's isn't worth the investment). It counters tanks stacking armor.
