The legitimate reason Graves needs his cigar back...

So his new Q is a canister that he fires from his gun that leaves a trail of gunpowder behind it, only to have a delayed ignition starting at Graves feet.

My question is this: How is he igniting that trail of powder? With his lame-o e-cigarette? It makes no sense! It would make more sense thematically if he flicked his cigar at the trail, igniting it that way!
