[IMO]How to: Make LOL a better game
I'm sorry you have to read through all these stuff, that are basically just my ideas, if you have some spare time feel free to read, I would love if this message could just reach Riot in a way or the other, because is what a lot of players (Not everybody, Idk if a good part of it) feels right now.
BALANCING AROUND COMPETITIVE PLAY
Now, let's be honest, how many time have you seen a champion played a lot in the competitive-play and it was nerfed soon after? Ryze, Shen, Taliyah, etc.. All champions that become broken when put in a competitive team because they are all around the team play, taking as an example the three quoted champions: they all offer an insane amount of>
- CC
- Roaming potential
- Map Pressure They are exactly made for doing these stuff, if you nerf them, while they are godlike in competitive, while just normal in SoloQ you are killing the champion in both the scenarios, because in both cases you are causing a meta-shift toward something more effective, just killing a champion because of 0.02% of the total player base.
BALANCING TEAM THINKING IN LONG TERMS
I'll make a quick example, like, there are some assassins that aren't as broken at the moment as for example Fizz or Talon. Meanwhile, there are other assassins, Example:
nerfed since the release of her rework that will have even more problems now since her damage is lowered even more and she isn't getting any compensation, same for her movement speed since
was made a mage item and she is still the only assassin that now has delay in her kit (Just taking as example Katarina because is the only good example I can find in the pool of champions I play)
Overloading game with mobility and/or CC Every rework, every new champion, has either CC or dashes or both or, anyway, a spell that acts as a mobility one, were are the good ol' risky champions that bring a lot of damage to the team, while not having much mobility, the healthies gameplay style because you will be not CC'ed for 3 hours and then the only thing you can do is just wait to die, you know it will end either you outplay him or the opposite Even the new nunu, seems to have 2 slows, 1 knock up and a snare, I mean cmon.
Stop listening low elo players for balancing changes I know, I know, I will be totally shat on because of that sentence up here, but in my opinion, if you aren't at least, let's say gold because the knowledge of the game has gone up a bit during the last period (but it changes from person to person). it would be fair because gold players reached the middle of the tiers, they should know what they are doing and the game in general, not be the best experts of it, but still, I'd take their word on some topics.
Revert runes Yessssss, you heard me (again, that's my personal opinion about it), runes should give the opportunity to any champion to be played with the playstyle a person choose, with the masteries adding that even more spicy personal touch to it. Let's be honest the only runes used nowadays are: PTA, electrocute, grasp, aftershock, conqueror The others are just so rare because they just go well on a few champions really, Hail of blades as an example right now is just good Jhin, Klepto on GP /Ez Predator on a few junglers, Vlad and Karthus The only personal touch we can give to our play style in the second tree, but let's be honest, bone-plating is so broken 70% of the time it is just fine to have it as secondary, but again it really depends on the playstyle and that's really the only freedom that the new runes offer.
Then again Balancing team forgot to add the 12 MR to the game that was lost from the runes, but they added base HP and armour.

Think you're right, Scarra. Power creep has come into League. Look at Garen's ult, Cho Gath's etc, Riot added so many different amplifiers and scaling effects that these ults can easily do upwards of 1200 True damage. Reworks: Hearing the community of that champion while reworking it
I don't know why there was a point where reworking a champion became "Changing it completely" for riot, it started happening around Assassins rework.

Something that didn't happen for example to your first reworks ever

Q- Alpha strike, W-healing changed in a more healthy way. E-empowered AA- R highlander, champions lore and playstyle (for those who played Yi jungle) unchanged
Q- Attack speed burst, W- rocket jump, E still a bomb made more healthy for the gameplay, R still same spell.
Fix the client Yes, I will never stop saying this, the old client never, I repeat, never gave me any problems of: FPS, crash or anything. With the new one, the FPS go down EVERY patch, bug splat pops out more often, and I even have to repair it from time to time.
