Instead of complaining, start preparing. Put your ideas here.

Alright, so Preseason 6 is right around the corner and is already on the PBE. Tons of changes are in testing (although none are final), and it seems like a lot of people have some strong opinions (what a surprise). Some people are happy, some or not. Instead of making a QQ thread about how mages are getting nerfed and AD is getting buffed, or the thread literally right below it saying AD assassins were getting nerfed (like wtf), I'm making this thread to get some ideas down. Write what you think will be the most impactful change, and how to deal with it. Maybe it's a new build path, a laning strat, a counter to a new reworked champ, or even just finding a new champ you think will be fun to play now.

Personally, I'm going to have fun with this new KogMaw. His arcane barrage seems exploitable, especially with an on hit build and maybe a item 3085 item 3022 . Heck, I'm willing to try jungle KogMaw just to play around with devourer.

What do you guys plan on doing to cope with the changes? Whats strong to you, and whats weak now?

Idea 1) Remove adcs Idea 2) ... Nah, that's pretty good already.

I see jungle graves being strong. I also want to see if corki is viable in a hybrid or ap build in the mid lane again.

I'm really interested to see what happens with Graves. It feels like he's going to be terrible, but his numbers are actually /quite/ good right now. Normally when I'm stuck on a team of no peel/4 carries, I'd just grab Caitlyn and pray it's enough. Hint: When there's a zed on the team, it usually isn't. I'm hoping a tanky graves is ACTUALLY safer in those scenarios. If they nerf him, he's dead for sure, but if they don't? Will people actually play him?

No. I'm going to complain. These changes are shit, everyone knows their shit, Riot will go through with it anyway. "My ideas" don't mean jack shit to the balance team. Hell, "my idea" would be to fire every last one of them and start over.

I wasn't trying to get Riot to see this, I was trying to get some ideas of how to deal with it. Who cares if stuffs op, it goes through. Might as well decide the best way to adapt

Deal with it? Play an ADC in every role, because literally every other class is going to get shit on.

I really don't think people are taking a holistic view of these changes. Riot gave some itemization buffs for mages, then itemization buffs for tanks/fighters, and now they're giving some for adc's. And these new changes, by the way, also benefit AD fighter/tanks as well in some cases. But all some people are doing is tunnel-visioning ADC buffs. And heck, even ignoring some nerfs.

How does this fit with some of the mastery changes? I suspect some of the new tank masteries are stronger than people think. What about the nerfs? They just reduced Graves range by A HUNDRED. Do you know why Quinn has traditionally sucked in botlane? Yeah, that's why. Not to mention Graves' new reload times.

I see some of these changes, and they look pretty darn OP, but that's fitting given recent itemization changes for other classes, and, honestly, in the larger scheme of ALL upcoming changes PLUS recent changes, are probably not as OP as people think (players cry "apocalypse" every time a patch comes out.)

Only time will tell.

Riot actually has a pretty significant history of post-patch apocalypses sent them into crisis management. Release Zyra. League of Cleavers. Challenging-Devourer WW. Cinderhulk release. Sated release. Runeglaive Ezreal. Juggernaut release.

I wouldn't call a quick patch rework on a new item here or there as "crisis management". Way too melodramatic. But w/e. Tomayto Tomahto (how the heck do I say this phrase in text?)

On another note: Devourer WW, Runeglaive Ez: Eh, I'd say these cases goes to show that the REAL problem is: over one hundred and fifteen champs. One item tweak can theoretically affect EVERY champ. Getting that right the first time may be nigh impossible. I think I like Smite's system more (or what it was last time I played it. It's been a while.) Magical champions were strictly magical and could only buy magical items. Physical champion's likewise. Less room for an item change to screw EVERYONE up.

Step 1: quit league of Legends.

I had a 100% success with this approach

Play mages with the new ad items

well, guess picking Soraka or Taric can now be reportable for trolling, so I want a refund on these champions and the Skins I bought for them!
