Please Explain the State of the Meta ADC Builds

Wtf is this build going around? Essence Reaver into RFC? ER into RFC means you build CDR and atk spd, where's the damn damage? I've been playing a decent amount of adc in preseason 6/season 6, and while I don't exactly main ADC I personally find this s**t to be awful. Excluding my Vayne games, the number of games in which I win is directly proportional to the number of games I don't rush ER and don't build RFC in. Imho it's awful. I was 8-1 in my last game and couldn't even 1v1 an 0-5 Leona. Most useless build ever. And people are complaining about BotRK being bad, then complain about tanks being OP because of it... maybe build the damn item and see if it's actually as bad as you say? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I haven't had any problems with tanks building situationally rather than this stupid ER into RFC garbage, every game where I just build situationally goes well and every game where I follow the meta it goes awfully. Also, ER is only mildly OP and RFC isn't OP at all. If RFC was OP I wouldn't lose almost every match I build it in. The ADCs I usually play are Lucian, Vayne, MF, and Ezreal.

I really wish this logic held up. I couldn't even win games with Release Kalista, let alone after ANY of the nerfs. Like my winrate with her is appalling.

She's the only ADC I struggle with. If the logic of "I lost so it's not OP" was true, we would still have release Kalista (which I wouldn't even complain about, though everyone else would).

Really, ER+FRC is amazing on Lucian. You probably just need to learn to play bot lane a little better.

You could ask Lucian where the damage is but be careful, he might just oneshot you because balance Kappa

Like any meta build, ADC meta builds are a red herring. A diversion created to lead the gullible to believe streamers and pros are more intelligent than the common man. Build what fits your champion and play style.

essence reaver because its broken.

rapid fire cannon for poke trades. you can poke at your opponent for extra damage from outside his auto attack range.

Vayne's tumble is a lot stronger with RFC because it's an empowered auto. That's all I can really say. I don't hardly ever play ADC.
