Actual question in regards to adc teamfighting (not just bitching)

Im playing twitch. a 5v5 is engaged and im in stealth. enemies are in a choke point, so i ult. as soon as i pop out of stealth a wild bard ult appears!

What happens next in an optimal scenario.

1)I flash the bard ult into the enemy team and go rambo cause my ultis a limited cd and we probably lose the fight without it. (This would completly compromise my positioning and id be basically frontline)

2)I flash the bard ult away from the enemy team and hope we dont lose the game, altho we lost a teamfight and baron (the fight is near baron so we are atleast losing that)

3)I facetank the bard ult because I suck and im a trash plat player. After it pops, i pop. =/

  1. [input answer]

situation 3 is what happened. Because situation 1 and 2 came through my mind and i hesitated too long... I didnt really understand the gravity of what happened until it was too late unfortunately

Id kinda like the opinion of someone in high elo if theyre willing to bite.

~also is there any way to prepare for something like this so you dont fuck up the fight? Or is it all just experience

Thanks, Crisis

I think 1 is the probably right answer but im not sure tbh. Maybe they wouldnt react to me flashing it and id get just enough autos off to win the fight? Or some crazy kiting would occur (has happened on instinct before)

Honestly, there's not a lot you can do to prepare for this. Just play the game. And you'll start finding yourself making decisions out of reflex without actually thinking about it.

For example. Kindred's ult is a double edged sword. But what makes it so god damn powerful and justifies its long cool down is it counters every freaking damaging ult in the game. Any living thing inside the ult's circle can not die. I've used it to save my team from being killed by four ults raining down on us simultaneously. Mean while, just out of practice and intuition I've gotten to the point where I can quickly reposition myself to deny the enemy team the same benefit.

Bards ult is equally as powerful. As it stasis anything it hits. While abilities that are active for x number of time will continue to tick down, anything hit by it is unable to move or take damage. This ult is best used for locking down any major sources of damage for a bit while your team deals with the rest. Or to protect your team from a barage of ults. Unlike Kindred's ult, Bards prevents taking damage, but also prevents movement and dealing damage. Kindred's ult allows players to continue moving, and dealing damage.
