Why is there not an option to solely pick 1 role? I'd gladly wait longer in queue if there was a choice for it. I can play other lane's, but I main jungle, and when I'm playing ranked I don't want to play any other role. So what gives, why isn't this an option?

DeathBurst1 votesThis "almost" always adds up when it's over a few tens of thousands of players. If a significant fraction o fthe player base chose this option, it would massively increase the Queue Timer for everyone, including those that do not chose this option.

xBushx1 votesI really think we should have this...and make the queue times ridiculous and OPT in to auto fill or multi role.
Otherwise your queue time will be huge and I personally am fine with this.

"but oh its only a game don't take it seriously." yea but u don't play hockey and soccer with your hands and run around like a jack-ass. play it for what it is. grasp the basic concepts for all roles. or do urself a favor and quit. this is why i detest new match making and want random pick order to return.

in ANY professional game, individuals are trained in a specific role which they excel at. obviously this isn't pro play, but why wouldn't someone who's playing ranked be able to pick their role that they have practiced a hell of a lot more than the other positions?
i'm not saying it should be mandatory, but i feel like there should be an option for players like this, myself included

I think I've been getting jungle 9 games out of 10.
The main reason that this isn't an option is because it would increase queue times for everybody.
Just be thankful that you can be given one of two selected roles rather than the free-for-all champion select used to be.
