Well, based on what Riot employees have said in podcasts, it's more or less Thunderlord or GTFO.

I was running it for the team-fight utility on his ult. Is it THAT inferior to Thunderlord's still? Seems like Thunderlord's is just too good in lane, and scales too well. I just wanted some feedback. Yeah that pretty much sums up that podcast.

Not really, but you have to watch your own ganeplay.

Are you doing a ton of damage? Get stormraiders to add utility to that damage

Are do doing less damage than utility play? Then get thunderlards to add some damage to that utility
