I love Riot, and I can justify most of their decisions
Riot is a great company, and most of what they do makes sense. But for the life of me, I cannot understand this Xin Zhao buff. This is an enormous buff to a champion that was already okay in Solo Queue, opening him up to higher AD builds that scale with the rest of his kit. Everything else on the PBE is great; the Ekko buff is a little suspect, but we're getting nerfs to a lot of the annoying picks, with extra time to see more (Fiora nerfs?), and Duskblade is a pretty good item that people are irrationally freaking out about (I've seen so many people who think that ADCs will be broken with it, while I can only think of two who can use it,
as a 2nd item and
as a 4th-5th item, the latter might get FOTM soon, or at least be played pro).
It's a nice PBE patch, with one enormous scar in the form of an unnecessary Xin buff. I'm just waiting for PBE vids to come flowing out about how OP he is.
