Are there plans to move her back to mid lane? Make her more of a support? Keep things more or less the same? Try and make her equally good at both roles? Undecided/Unclear yet?
I think some of us are very curious as to what your plans for zyra are,considering she is in such an odd spot.
My gut tells me that we would probably target more or less the same. Strong/viable in support role with an option for mid as a not top tier but fun side option. We don't have any specific plans with her right now, but that is how I'd feel when we started that conversation.
Does this sit right with you guys?
We don't have a lot of poke supports, Zyra is one of them, with Lux, Lulu and Fiddle running up since Annie's had a bit of reworking over the last while. I prefer having Zyra as a support to have a larger pool of champs to take bot lane. There's something really satisfying taking Zyra against a Blitzcrank and watching him pull your plants xD
Bigger playerbase as a support,so work on her should be focused on her as a support.
Last time a red said anything about what exactly they wanted to do with her, they said they wanted to make her more plant-based. The way Riot designs champions a lot nowadays, they'll probably focus more on making her kit thematically satisfying than on making it suited specifically mid or bot (though her type of champ often has some level of viability in both).
Zyra is one of my highest win rate champions. I mainly play her as mid but sometimes play her as support. The only thing I dislike is that her plants are retarded and her passive is just bad. There will be multiple targets within the plants range, but they just won't attack sometimes. The delay on her passive lets people walk out of range before you can fire it. Also, it isn't anywhere near as terrifying as when a Karthus or a Sion dies. Most people will just stand next to you when you die as Zyra because her passive just sucks. A lot of people say Zyra has mana problems, but I have no problem managing my mana. The delay on her Q isn't anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be. I believe the slow travel speed on her E is justified because it can travel through units.
