  1. When do i group up with my team? I played a match as Sion recently on Top Lane but the team seemed to group up on some signal i didn't see and i was laning and farming on top while they were pushing into the enemy base and taking inhibitor.

  2. If League is one of the most toxic games in the world then why does everyone join match chat instead of doing team chat? Is everyone a masochist because everyone complains about toxicity yet they allow the enemy team to flame them. Just seems weird to me.

  3. At what point in ranked does the power of individual champions matter. In Overwatch you can play one of the worst characters in the game, Bastion who has never been, nor will be meta, all the way into GM (Basically challenger) ,on any map regardless of context. When is this not the case in LoL?

  4. Are the following champions good right now: Tanks: Sion, Amumu. Support: Bard, Thresh, Tahm Kench(I didn't know what he was so i just went by how the game classified him) ADC: Caitlyn, Twitch. Jungler: Kindred, Kayne.

  5. I want to be a jungler main, is that a good idea or does everyone and their brother already play Jungler?

  6. Are there any really comprehensive beginner guides to teach me positioning, when to do this and that, and a general idea of how to play each role?

FYI i'm a horrible noob, so go easy on me.

FYI i'm a horrible noob, so go easy on me.

1)top laners ( imo) dont group up unless there is an objective to be contested. is baron is up your top lane, is dragon is up and bot isnt pushing your the one pushing it. inversely if you have TP up you make sure to signal that ad apply pressure tot he opposite side of the map. a good top laner Draws attention to him/herself but doesnt die from it. think " if you dont stop me i will scale to hard and end the game myself" or in sion's case " i will push you in and force rotations that my team can exploit"

also dont play kindred you literally could play dirt and have a better winrate

  1. you implying that things people do are entirely 100% logical. logically speaking if you're to toxic to use chat why not just only use pings? applying logic to human interaction normally fails when add in the internet to the equation ( i mean look at some fo the fucked up ass memes you see online )

  2. Short story, all ranks. You can one trick yourself all the way to diamond reliably if you have the skill. the issue is past diamond you really have to play to an exceptional level every single game and preform well. human error prevents champion diversity in those elos but it isnt impossible. just extremely difficult . further more the OW and LoL comparison is not relative as Shoot have different aspects to them that allow for hero diversity

  3. Sion : yes? tank in general got a big boost. he is in no means a priority pick but he does his job. Amumu: again same as sion except that he is a low elo stomper Supports: does it build item 3504 ? if not they are not a priority pick. ( thresh will always be strong due to his kit however ) Cait: got hit with some nerfs but still has her staple trait of being a safe pick no matter the lane. twitch: yes? Personally i cant speak on this one. how ever twitch jungle has been popular in my game for some reason ( red buff cheese is strong ) Kayne: hit or miss really, your better playing Sej amumu zac or j4 kindred: HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA.... oh you're serious... HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  1. yes and no, you can watch hour and hours of videos but stiff thinking like that wont elp you in game. watch high elo guide will help but the numbver 1 thing abbout leauge is you need the ability to think.

per example, there are low elo players who dont understand the concept of counter jungling.

bronze: walk in steal their shit or kill them, i dont have vision or any knowledge of what items the enemy might have or even his level. silver:i warded their shit but i wont contest anything or use this information, unless im shaco, then i'll just attempt to cheese him for 5-10 minutes of the game Gold: i wont contest buffs unless im 2 levels up and 5/0 ( and this is statistically suppose to be where people git gud )

i cant speak for the higher elos above gold but the amount of times ive seen this think in game is outrageous

Okay, thanks. Oh, and i wanted a guide so i don't set my bad habits in stone. Also i wanted to know the most popular role because if theirs an over saturation of say tank players then being a tank main would be setting myself up for failure. No need to be so cynical, just asking noob questions.

how would that set yourself up for falure? if anything it would mean you're playing the meta which would be beneficial.

further more im not being cynical at all, i added in snark only to kindred

she is only bad because her kit is oppressive when functional so nerfs made it very weak

she use to clear the jungle and not lose any HP at all, which allowed ehr to walk into the enemy jungle at full HP and auto win fights due to her ability to chase and kite. much like release reksai, when a champion is designed to counter jungle there are inherit problems.

To strong at fighting and they edge out literally every other jungler and will bully lanes if played into a lane. to weak and you either forfeit your kits design ( not counter jungle for safety ) which in turn defeats the purpose of the pick ( most the time ) or end up forced to play the kit ( kindred's case due to her marks being a central part of her kit ) and dying to any decent *player

*referring to players who properly understand how to deal with counter jungle pressure

Shaco is much in the same way as kindred but he works out much better because his tool set is made to be a complete nightmare pre 30 mins. but anything past that shaco cant make or break games. kindred is inverse shaco where she is suppose to scale but is never given that chance to to how weak she starts out.

I know what Meta is. (It's the state of the game determined by what players do, what works best at the moment, and what doesn't work due to being countered or beaten frequently. Ex. A huge nerf to blue buff making ADC's more powerful than AP mages.) But you said "Do they build (X Item), if not then they aren't a priority pick." So unless that's somehow LoL slang or an icon for meta then it's an item. Idk, i'm a noob.
