It would be, but a Morde with any full tier boots is outran by another champion with basic boots.

The other champs with 325 MS like ezreal and blitz either have range, dashes, or blinks built in thier kit, while Morde has one of the worst base hp in the game, and 2nd worst base resistances.

I figure since Mord has the highest base AD in the game, I might as well cheese it up with a mostly AD and crit build. Did it a lot last night and didn't do so bad, but in the end I still needed rylias to do anything come mid game.

As Morde jung, I went echoes, Rylias, than pure AD and crit

If Morde has highest Ad in game might as well get crit for the hues

And hues it did bring

It's not about chasing, but getting kited and not having the ability to even run away, much less fight if you wanted to.
