You want to know why riot ignores the playerbase on balance? Ill tell you
Its cause your all bloody idiots, thats why! How many times has riot nerfed something and people complain. And how many times has riot not nerfed something and everyone complains anyway. Is it truly wrong to wait for a meta shift for a little bit? I remember when morde, darius, and tryn were considered op by many. They dint get nerfed and they just faded away. No one gives too shits about them now. When riot nerfs something because noobs complain on the forums this is what happens. Noobs complain about champ, riot nerfs or reworks champ, right after nerf, everyone is out for fuking blood for scruffy. 1 week later people figure out how to play champ in new way. OMG RIOT HE OP again NERF! NERF! Then riot ether nerfs the champ again out of viability (khazix) or just let him fade out of the meta (Rengar). Oh but maby riot wants to change a champ with rly good design and play style to not be as op anymore( lee sin) OMG riot NOT everyone needs ENDGAME FANTASY WTF! so riot reverts changes (OMG RITO YOU Just WANT YOUR LCS MONEY, lee sin favorite, fire balance team). I fucking remember a time when people thought zed was too balanced to be a op assassin with his single target damage. Now hes op as shit for no apparent reason but he "kills minions too fast and doesn't use mana"
My biggest gripe is AKali. Akaili had clear weaknesses and strengths before she got nerfed good vision or cc destroyed her. But noobs cant do this so they cry on the forums alkali gets nerfED. OK its not to bad. NOOBS continue to cry. Riot nerfs her E ability to be the most stale and and bland ability in the game, and forces her to use lich bane again. I would say riot hates assassins but hey "zed op right?
TL DR: its impossible for riot to take advice on balance from the community constantly. If you want to main ashe and taric be my guest but dont try to ruin it for others who like to play actually viable and fun champs.
