Despite the mistakes me and a lot of community members feel that you've made in patch 5.4 ( DESTROYING Kassadin, not gutting Lee/Nida etc. ) there is one thing i feel you have not recieved enough praise for, the beautiful Zilean changes.

Zilean Zilean was actually the first champion i bought (i am a player that has played since beta). And for the first time since s2 i feel like my prescence on the battlefield matters.

Zileans mechanics has always demanded some skill from the player, especially his W which forces you to think several steps ahead before casting it since you might miss a double bomb/slow/speed opportunity. However the new patch finally made his playstyle viable, and added a lot more depth to the character.

The new bombs finally add that "strategic diveristy" and teamfight prescence he has lacked for SO long. The new range indicator makes Zileans bomb-prescence much like that of a Cho'Gath or a Sion, you see the bomb area, you do not want to step in it. Bang bing bada-boom map control unlocked!

There are SO many flashy plays to be done with the new stun mechanic, and the ultra slow travel time demands that the player controlling Zilean need to think ahead before lobbing them away (which is refreshing considering the click and point style mechanic of the newer champions which feel more like playing an arcade game then LOL). Suddenly i actually feel like the enemy team/enemy lane considers me a threat since i can aoe stun them in a teamfight!

The new 2.5 second slow/speed is a great addition as well, try going with a Volibear/Jarvan/Yasuo and watch as the enemy team tremble in despair. If you are skilled a t timing it, your lane is pretty much ungankable as well.

And finally the ulti-nerf was a healthy decision, the 60 sec cd lategame ( and thats without CDR ) still makes you a traveling revive machine, however it toggles of the insane early game dominance Zilean used to have.

All i can say is BRAVO! This rework has made me play Zil once more, all he needs new is a new skin ....

I played tristana ADC witht he new zileon on the PBE and I thought the same thing, His new bombs were actually MORE OP in the with the new tristana, it really gives a lot of lane pressure to the enemy bot laners..

I cant wait to see more zileans down in botlane with me.

I like the new Zilean as well. He's so much more fun to play.

But 36 sec cooldown on his ult at 40% cdr? I don't know what I think of that :P

I also feel like his passive could be more interesting. I like that it affects his exp gain but it's just rather boring. Bard's passive exp minigame is more fun and interactive. Something more interactive for Zilean as well, plz :)

This is bs. Zilean does not have reliable, safe burst damage now. Also, he does not have overall mobility he had before with longer speed boost and/slow. New Zilean also does not scale as hard even though his new kit makes it more difficult for him to double bomb. Play the guy some first before you spout off how you think he is better. If you new the old and played it well, you would know this new iteration is not better. Only advantage I see is the zoning potential but you see I could zone pretty well with other style also and the zoning in addition busted them up cause I had guarantee landing of bombs. You wrong on this opinion friend.
