Champion.gg - League of Legends Stats by Champion Role for the Current Patch

Top lane is no longer controlled by AP mids that moved top. Top lane is no longer controlled by immovable cinderhulk tanks. We are now in the league of fighters.

#1-10 on champion.gg's list are all fighters that ignore armor. Garen, Darius, Irelia all have true dmg. Yasuo, Wu Kong and Gangplank all have massive armor reduction. Rengar, Riven and Tryndamere all do so much damage that armor items are basically pointless vs them anyway if they snowball.

im confused as to what actually decides the rank of a champion on that list.

garen is #1 on that list with a lower winrate, pickrate, and banrate than darius. what am i missing? theyre close together but nearly all of the stats, from kills to gold earned to damage dealt are lower than darius.
