Duo's are the worst causes of toxicity in league. No wait hear me out, if you load up into a game not only are the duos/partys going to fault losing there lane (especially if your jungle), but the group of them are going to gang up on the "outcast" and single him/her cause they did or didn't do something. They when the game is over they go report [blank] because toxic meaning you have 2-4 people one your team that are reporting you because they just being a dick. And to top it off the enemy team believe that bullshit so you might have 9 people reporting you just to be dick, or cause they don't know any better. Worst of all i see this in ranked games, yes you might be BFFs with your best friend, but I don't want to get paired with a duo with a new player. I started one game were he was duo with his "diamond" smurf, now what rank he actually was means nothing, but the fact I have to play a game with someone who executed to groump at lvl 1 with a leash as Warwick I don't want to be part of that game.

To Summarize:

  1. You have a group of people that fault the "outsider" but somehow see no evil when i comes to their own team
  2. You get mixed with new players that group with others
  3. Finally I've never had a good game that has a duo, it just never happens, in Rift its the easiest way to win/lose a game. Cause if the duo loses lane, the game is over and you know they gonna let there team know it. It becomes a game of "gg we have no jg" or "gg, this mid/top/bot/jg sucks (excluding the duo of course)"
  4. Get the Duo out of Rift or give them a Que just for them. Team builder was a perfect way of doing this. Duos would play with/against other duos, and I don't have to solo que into a game with a Vayne. (The by definition the most toxic player in all of league, not your Teemo's but your Vayne's cause if they cannot 1v5 the game is over, if you cannot babysit them from 3 assassins [Zed Talon and a Rengar ] the games not with playing. Ok, now this is a rage about Vayne a champion with the most toxic player community in all of league, Nerf that Riot. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

my duo and i are not toxic. we don't really talk in chat(we have no need to), we don't flame people, and we definitely don't single people out. this is just a stereotype of league of legends. it applies to some, but not all.

First off, when your talking in chat about the game your teammates cannot know unless you talk in chat, don't expect them to read your mind, you should still use chat even if they aren't necessarily involved in the play. As solo player the most annoying thing is working with Skype'd players who never communicate in chat. Second whether you are or not salty in chat, your play-style can also show a negative aspect in the game, kind of like body language in game. Also in my experience most toxic players don't always recognizes if they are being toxic, this is because they might tell themselves otherwise, like I'm trying to be helpful, which they might actually being however that can also come out as passive aggression. Other times they are just fooling themselves, kind of like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Lastly stereotype are stereotype because they are known to be true, the misinterpretation is that they are always true, meaning the stereotype has some truth to it.

first off, pings are everything we need to use to communicate efficiently and effectively. they can be used to ask for assistance, ping missing enemies, danger, and on my way. we're not a skype duo, we're a we live together duo. and most people who are toxic but tell themself they aren't, normally get banned for verbal abuse or harassment in chat.

Most of the people that are toxic don't get banned. That's why they are there. I've had only two games where toxic players got punished (little warning saying a player has been punished) any other time nope, cause the only why players get banned is if like 6/10 people report, pretty hard to do when one of them is the toxic and they aren't spamming in allchat. Not to mention they are with a duo who won't report them. What are you gonna do when you have a 4 man premade that's toxic AF, then says to report you (the random) for toxic when you were mute all game.

you report the 4 made for harassment as asking others to report someone is considered such by the tribunal and if a 4 made reports you in one game, it holds no more weight than one report and you will not be punished if you are not in the wrong.
