Recap of the Preseason

So as it stands, there's a lot of things wrong in this game thanks to preseason. Yasuo and Tryndamere are now able to duel juggernauts and win, the majority of the community is against the new masteries, there is an extremely obvious crit overload on items, AP champions got slapped in the face this patch with the buff to MR items and even Deathfire Touch, the mage oriented mastery, scales better for AD champions.

Marksman got buffed to the point where it's not uncommon to see 3 of the per game now, and marksman are supposed to be high priority targets that are easy to kill but dish out tons of damage right? So why make them take 32% less damage when near their support? (at least make it to where item 3812 and item 3046 don't stack)

Tanks are practically useless now with giant slayer and all the armor shred (and giant slayer is even useful against squishy mid laners who happen to grab item 3116 or item 3027 ), Especially tanks like Zac, DrMundo, and Alistar who rely heavily on self heals and regen to be viable item 3123

And the worst thing about this is that Riot is once again silent about the subject, they ignored everyone on PBE and they're ignoring everyone now. If riot would even speak up to say so much as "we're working on it" but no.

The point is even with all the issues people have with this patch, Its the silence from Riot thats making everything worse. They did this with Mordekaiser too, until a Rioter said "ooh Iron Revenant is a better title for him" and then everyone was somewhat content.

I have a lot of gripes about the new patch but I like it for flavor at least. each item feels more unique and more powerful now, like the AP items do. Now what we need to change is the amount of power the items themselves have. ADC's should have the ability to itemize against other champions but they're getting huge damage spikes with each item. I think two items and boots is a little too early for the ADC to blossom like it is.

A very good example I have is I just went 18/5 last game as MF, and I feel like she's a much better champion with her new rework. once I got two items on her though, I was literally mowing their entire team with weaving auto's to get her passive to proc like crazy. The real zing here is that I was actually behind kalista in terms of gold as I was 1/2/1 and she was 2/1/1 at the end of early game and I finally finished my Essence Reaver, and then I got a double kill right then and there. From there I built a zeal and just started wrecking their faces. each time we fought I basically ended up dealing so much damage that I would get a double and put all the other champions low enough for them to be easily killed by a teammate. I checked damage dealt at the end of the game, and I had almost 30k dmg difference between me and second place on damage dealt to champions, and almost 40k difference in total damage.

The items have too much weight each, I like that they feel more unique, but I feel like they need to be toned down so that the real power spike happens on their third item.

As for the Masteries, I both like and dislike them. I can definitely see and feel their effects, but at the same time I feel like some are too powerful (warlords Bloodlust for sure is overtuned). However having done almost 20 different pages I have a much better understanding of them, and it's a lot easier to customize Masteries to a specific champion. The only one I don't like is the cunning tree, it feels very odd to have support and assassin talents lumped together. I wish they had cunning as more of the roaming tree that gave you good out of battle effects that you could capitalize on, and then the more utility stuff that they already have. In that way assassins would clearly go for the burst skills in ferocity and then dump the last 12 into the cunning tree for a little more mobility when they're OOC so they can look for targets. While supports would all in with this tree so they can roam to ward, clear wards, and help with ganks as needed, and then could either go for tank masteries to be a little more durable, or dmg masteries to help out with their damage a bit.

TL:DR there's too much to cover for this read it or ignore it.
