New GP Skin Free?

So ummmmm.... I read that if you have played GP at any time before he "died" you would get the "Captain Gangplank" skin for free, and I played him A LOT when he was reworked, like I had a few points in his first mastery level and now he's level 3 mastery for me, all from playing him AFTER he was reworked (yes I actually do enjoy the new Gangplank).

But I don't have the skin..... it says "unavailable," so is there like a delay on this free skin or did Riot just screw me over for no reason?

You'll get it on the 10th. Make sure you own him before then also; it won't give you the champion and skin if you don't own him but played him on the free rotation.

Also note that you didn't necessarily have to play him before he died; you can play him at any time before the 10th.

The cut off date is the 10th, so I wouldn't expect to be getting the skin until about a week or so after that at the latest.
