You...can still build Abyssal, you know. It has more MR, even.
And Banshee's Veil is now cheap as all hell, even if it really is shit in slot-efficiency terms.

but with mana regen being all but removed and QSS no longer removing zed's mark, I don't think you're going to have to worry about playing vs AP champs in midlane anymore. League of 
is approaching swiftly...
Athene's wasn't really a good go-to against AP assassins unless you already built it anyway.
