Vel'Koz can Zhonyas during his ult (yes it cancels ult, but at least he's able to), but he can't flash during ult. I gotta cancel ult before flashing, and it takes longer time than just being able to automatically cancel ult by flashing.
Doesn't this completely defeat the purpose of it being a channeling skill?
because this champ spam spells like a ryze, oh got hitted by one spell after juking 10? get ulted and outplayed, now he will also flash - last hit after ulting.
i dont see a problem with this why not.
