Constantly getting AFKs...

Anyone else just getting a ridiculous amount of people quitting games? Like I've done 4 of my placements and in 3 of them I've had a party member just quit cause they were getting their shit kicked in like some bronzies who were boosted far above their appropriate elo..... First a Vayne, then an Ori supp, and then a Riven.... how are these placements supposed to be indicative of my own ability if it's impossible for me to win cause of these people?

No one was even talking shit, not to what you'd expect to make someone quit at least... the Vayne was shitting on her supp who really wasn't all that good but her attitude wasn't helping, and then she just gave up cause we weren't also all being negative towards Soraka with her. Then the Ori panic picked her as a support cause all her mains were apparently banned or taken, and after feeding the enemy bot lane she just said "I'm done trying" and that was it. Then we have the typical Riven, gets shit on by a Pantheon, dies 3 times in 5 mins, and afks....

Like I report them ofc, but how does that help me out? Am I just fucked? And is this a common thing right now? I've seriously never seen this many people quitting in their PLACEMENTS before, this is absolutely ridiculous.
