Don't flame on people in game if they end up getting team countered

if the enemy team is Rengar Malphite Katarina Leona Jhin don't flame your glass canon carry if they dont make it though every team fight

if the enemy team is Caitlyn Alistar Lissandra Rammus Nasus don't flame your melee teammates if they don't do boatloads of damage every fight

I could go on but I think I've made my point. just because a champ is strong or meta doesn't mean they perform optimally in every scenario. most champs have an opposite and most players have an opposite mindset that will rock their world. So unless your team sits in an arena with sponsors and cheering fans, don't wail on them for being dealt a bad hand.

I agree

But I think a better point would really just be to not flame your teammates.

It doesn't really help anything, ever.

that argument always invites 10,000 little, "but what about X" arguments I don't feel like sifting through. and a lot of the time I see flaming on someone who has an unfavorable matchup or gets camped and so on.

There is no "But what about X"

Don't do it.

Flaming a teammate will literally doing nothing to help them or your team.

You are far more likely to tilt them even further.

And regardless of what side the rest of your team is on, it automatically creates division, which is not good for their performance either.

Even if they chose to ignore both sides, it is just annoying to know that you have two people on your team who are not getting along.

The only way that I could consider 'flaming' to be useful is when it puts your enemies on tilt, but even then, it is just a scumbag move, and you still run the risk of being reported.
