Evelynn AD/AP Top/Mid: Anyone else play non-jg Evelynn?

I've played Eve this season exclusively in lane - usually as an AD tank hybrid, but I've been branching into AP as well. Her stealth is actually pretty decent in lane and you can play some nice mindgames on your opponent, along with setting up great roaming ganks with your jungler. Also having flash/ignite on her is great.

She does a very surprising amount of dmg in lane and champs without point-and-click have a really hard time hitting her with W up. With sheen on first back, farming and trading are very easy. She has very flexible build paths and can have a place on nearly any team.

In top lane she's gankable early and she's is very mana hungry mid lane vs meta champs like viktor sol and Syndra who can push/bully you early also she's very easy to dive when her ult is down . Not to mention Eve's biggest weakness as a jungler is she sucks at 2v2s early because you just focus her and she dies. I would say the one thing she has going for her is if you take ghost and flash she can roam at level 3 and get bot or top very quick or even catch enemy jungle doing scuttle crab when low at level 3

Actually those 3 champs are exactly the kinds I would pick Eve into - especially Syndra. Eve can weave out of her Q's with ease and should be able to easily dodge stun and throw as well. The only threat is being oneshot by R, so definitely rush neg cloak into Abyssal scepter followed by Rylai's vs a burst lane like that. Eve is actually pretty resilient if she's on even terms with the enemy - when she's jg she's usually a level or two behind, making her seem a lot more squishy than she really is. Her base dmg is also really good so if you build tanky items first (giants belt / neg cloak), you can dish out a lot more punishment than you take. I love it when people try to tower dive me as Eve - your ult is a gamechanger when diving or being dove, and the CD is short enough.

Her mana issues are pretty nonexistent once you back for Sheen - her passive is just huge. You're right though that she has to manage mana pretty well before that.

I'd play proxy eve top but once trailblaizer smite got removed and green wards it made it a lot more dangerous to do, Then when homegaurds got removed it removed her rush homegaurd teleport bot lane and collect gold. Pretty much the entire season All the good eve top had she lost.

A good Syndra will just push you in and poke at you under tower as you try to farm since u don't have range if you try to all in her she will knock you back. And if you rush cloak you will have mana problems and if u get sheen U will be squishy and die. Best case senerio she can't kill you but you can't kill her either worst case you fall behind and every time she has ult she can kill u about 60 percent health. the problem with Eve's passive is that you need to go stealth to get the mana back and if you are pushed to tower you arent gonna be able to do that or get on champs to trade back or spam q to push back. and if you are using w to dodge skill shots you leave yourself open to be ganked because you need your w to cleanse slows. Too much of her kit is about map pressure and is wasted by not being a jungle and eve really wants the new hex tech item in her build which going mid doesn't really allow. A champ like sol can roam early but is safer tf has better map pressure post 6 Syndra is better at killing Carrys and although eve flanks are awesome do I really want your mid laner performing risky flanks in the late game.
