Yes, you are wrong, because you think having multiple forms of cc is required to be called a tank.
and
have almost no cc, but are undoubtedly considered champions who can be played as tanks with the right builds.
Udyr has a shield, and high base defenses, if he builds tank then he's a tank.
Because being a tank just involves not dying.
This is somewhat true, as long as you stay alive and force the enemy team to focus you, then you can be considered a tank even if you don't build tank. Tanks are called tanks because they tank damage, they're a sponge soaking up damage. If a champion soaks up damage and tanks the enemy teams focus, then yes they are a tanks even if they don't build tank.
Sustain tanks prove this.
and
don't usually build full tank, but are called sustain tanks because of they way they do their job of tanking the enemy teams damage, they sustain through it.
You know with a 0.62% playrate
kind of doesn't exist.
STOP CALLING THEM TANKS. They are just using bruiser/fighter builds.
Well they do the job of tanking better than actuall tanks so I'll call them tanks

Why should I call this a tank, 288 armor, 246 MR, 3680 health, has cc, and can't even last 5 fucking seconds against this shit
. Yes, I lost to that shit and now I'm complaining on the boards because I'm salty, but I'm not complaining because I lost, I'm complaining because I can be killed in less than five seconds as an actual tank, while off-tank hyper carries are almost impossible to kill late game without actually building tank.
You think an off-tank
would die that fast, hell no, he would charge in and force the enemy team to focus him, TANKING DAMAGE, while he heals, and does hypercarry level damage.
Its not right, that actual tanks like
get instakilled building full tank, while these off-tank hyper carries can't be killed with less than 4 people late game.
TL;DR I call them tanks because they tank damage like a tank is supposed to without actually building tank and can kill real tanks in a matter of seconds.
