I've been playing against Swain who was very fed and had zhonyas. He healed all of his HP in exactly 5 seconds due to his zhonyas and ult, so I'm wondering, "Is there any counterplay to this? If so, can someone tell me?" So, can someone tell me how to counter swain" *i'm playing azir and i'm just a noob with him, at this point i'm willing to accept buying tons of RP just to buy these champions.8

oSEXYPLATYPUSo2 votesswain has a bad early game , super high mana cost and mana dependent . he scales mid into late game. he is immobile prone to ganks cuz he kinda pushes waves as he farms . his early game farming is typically hard and bad for him, is autos suck for it so he has to use spells and mana to farm .

Didn't matter if he dodged, he still zhonyas and heals for all of his health.
Hotaru is Waifu2 votesazir is kinda weak agaisnt him the biggest thing i can say to help you is abuse early game when he gets going hes kinda hard to deal with 1 on 1 but early laning abuse his long cooldowns and mana costs as much as possible

Escanor Kujo1 votesOkay. For a more in depth explanation, swain is weak to stuns and silences. Much like aurelian sol passive,silences interrupt swains ugly and force it into cool down (2.5 sec I believe) Sience Azir ult does nullify swains Ult damage, you can utilize it to freeze swains ulty as he zhonias. Give it a shot

her ult has grievious wounds I've seen so many kats beat swain very easily
lvl1-lvl6 burts too hard for swain to heal up all of his health back
Quepha1 votesPre-6, diver champs can invalidate his long cooldown abilities and shut him down before he comes online.
For teamfights, someone on your team needs to build executioner's calling and you need to be decisive about focusing him over any tanks.
He's also deceptively poor at clearing waves (for a mage) so pushing the wave will leave his team under a lot of pressure.
