We have the preseason going on but i was wondering about placement matches. I was bronze 1, very very close to silver 5 but season 8 starts and i do my placement matches, will i be put against bronzes, silvers or golds? Like riot even said, after placements you will face people around your mmr, but ive heard some players that were bad so that means bad mmr, that got put with golds and had only bronzes on their team...so how does this all work? Should i wait a week or just start my placements during the first 2 days?

I find its all random chance and not "Golds vs Bronzes"

if you dont want to gamble wait 6 months or longer after everyone else has done ranking

Honestly I am not sure. Last season they did the whole "we put you lower than your rank so you can feel good climbing again"

jesus, 6 months, im sure most people will be done after 2 weeks, so they can start climbing

well i guess it doesnt matter anyways, even if i win 10/10 ill probably get put in bronze 4 or 5.
