PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back custom item sets for the new client.

-Warning: all caps ahead-

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO REASON TO TAKE THIS AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE THAT USE IT EVEN IF ONLY A MINORITY USED IT.

People that use item sets use it because the "recommended items" page is BS and bad, not even worth it as a cookie cutter build for some champs. Not only that, but people that use item sets use it because different situations call for different builds or items. One game you are building thornmail+frozen heart because the enemy team is full AD, the next you are building visage and veil because the enemy team is full AP. I don't want to have to constantly search for my items when I could just use a custom item set. There is also zero benefit from you taking it out and zero negatives from leaving it in. So please just bring it back.

For some people, like me, item sets were as important as runes and masteries. They honestly were.

Yea since riot supports diversity, item sets allow for more diversity.

Keep up with the Client updates. If you do, you'll know Riot has already stated item sets will come back, but that they won't be immediately because they don't have the man power to ship the new client with every single thing they've added over the past 7 years.

I agree entirely.

I rarely used them, but when I started using them they saved so much time and made it very convenient.

I think majority of the reason people ignored them was they have this "bigger pool of champs means I am a better player" mindset, and since they played such a wide variety they couldn't be bothered making one for each champ and build.

For the people who one trick, item sets saved lots and lots of time.

If you didn't use it, it isn't a big deal if it is there or not. If you did use it, then now you are inconvenienced massively.

Your main point is 100% accurate. There isn't a reason to NOT keep it around. Removing it for the sake of removing it.
