Question about MMR, And LP

I've been climbing hard, with my mmr estimated to be about a semi-division ahead, does that mean my LP will be gaining more or losing more? so like when I approach b1 and say my mmr is silver V will my lp gain be lower cause I'm closer to next division, or higher cause my mmr is above it?

You would have higher LP gains in that scenario, and you would lose less LP in your losses. If your MMR is higher than what your current rank indicates, you will have higher LP gains, but if you have lower MMR, you will lose more LP than you gain.
