Sometimes you can tell right away you are being matched with toxics, having an option to just leave them would be great Sure people might leave if they dont get the role they want but I think thats fine too People kinda just shuffle around more often and eventually they get roles they want, ditching assholes and everyones happy... just takes abit longer to get there

It would most likely be abused and it would make champ select very frustrating. Especially when they dodge at the last minute, wasting your time.

You sit in draft pick for 5 minutes and right at the last second someone leaves because they don't like the matchup. Then the next time someone dodges halfway through because they didn't like the role they got. Then the process repeats itself and you sit in queue for 2 hours to play a 30 minute game.

Well, I don't know since how long you playing LoL. But I remember the old time when they're was no punishment for queue dodging. It could take 3-10 minutes to be able to start a game. That mean an average of 3 or 4 queue dodge at the last second. Really annoying. Just because some people wanted to play a specific position and/or champion.
Unidad5 votesBecause you'll never get into a match. It would take 10 mins just to get a lobby of 10 people in SILVER who wouldn't dodge; now imagine high diamond - challenger: You'd be looking for a match for hours.

first dodge - 0 lp loss and 3 minute wait.
second dodge - 1 lp loss and 5 minute wait
third dodge - 3 lp loss and 10 minute wait
4th dodge - 3 lp loss and 20 minute wait
5th dodge - 10 lp loss and 50 minute wait
6th dodge - 10 lp loss and banned from rank for 24 hours.
and all these dodges are within 48hours before dodge count resets.

pros u can dodge 2 times and not have to wait (luckily ull get ur perfect match in 3rd queue)
3rd and 4th dodge is same as it is now.
5th and 6th are harsh for people who are abusing it.
it makes the people who are honest have 2 free dodges basically ( 1 lp loss in 2 dodges)

Your MMR doesn't get hit so you end up gaining it all back over time.

well i was offering a solution to help the honest people who want to dodge without losing lp. lets say the whole team first 4 picks are getting along, and last pick said he will troll and picked a really bad champ for his role and was basically toxic before match even started. whos to say the 4 guys deserve to lose?

Legendari3 votesIf there was no penalty for dodging, it would be pretty tough to even get a match to start.... one of the ten people would find some reason to dodge. I wish they'd lessen the penalty for consecutive dodges, though. Sometimes you just get multiple troll lobbies in a row and once you use up your -3 LP dodge, you are pretty much stuck with whatever you get after that.

Quepha2 votesdodging basically means you lost in champ select due to counterpicks, bad team comp, or a team that obviously will not work together. the punishment should be equivalent to a loss. although maybe it should be worth 5 losses since you were the only one to dodge and nothing happened to the rest of your team.
Sire Hippington2 votesI think a Que dodge vote like surrender could help to avoid abusecases in which people leave cause their main was banned or they don't get the position they want.
However, i'm guess i would always vote for yes cause if some has such low moral that he wants to leave Que, it's probably better to let him do so rather than performing bad in the game cause of lacking moral.
but still, there are manny situation in which i'd like to dodge ranked, like when i see teemo top, nida mid and sona as support with yi jungle, exactly 1 hard cc, zero tankiness and not even great pke/siege within 4 picks....u know the game's already lost with such a setup

Why would 9 players have to go through another team champ select just because 1 is a wuss. Its a time thing. It takes long enough to get into a match but it would just take longer if they allowed dodging any more.
