Starting ranked in this season is more mentally challenging than ever....keep your victorious skin

Long story short I managed to untilt myself and play out a game despite the game`s current state, basically went from slightly behind to carrying from the support role with constant roams as tahm kench support,

What I don't understand however, is how 1 player (a master yi jg who I basically substituted with my ganks) is allowed to just sit there voting to end, disconnect, then come back, run it down a lane, and refuse to defend base or group, they just splitpushed when nobody on the team consented to and when it wasn't necessary since the enemy team`s inhib turrets were down.

41 minutes of slowly taking down the enemy inhib turrets (which he did help us with atleast), winning every group fight but being unable to end since our master yi was never there to kill the last towers and it was already hard enough winning 4v5 in their base. (it would be near equal fights with both teams dieing and us managing to take towers.)

Then we finally lose a single group fight 4v5 because we didnt have the damage to kill anyone after our gnar got a good ult stun off.

We had ALL of the towers in our base, including inhib turrets, in the time it took for us to respawn, the enemy team had killed baron (we wernt even fighting near baron), taken our inhib turret, inhib, 2 nexus turrets, and gotten our nexus to low health...….the game was over and nothing I did mattered.

(meanwhile yi was in the bottom right corner of the map farming, while our base was dieing, rather than even trying to base race or defend, enemy inhibs were open and 1 nexus turret was down)

This makes me go back to being tilted, knowing that there is nothing that I can do that will make a difference in the game, I can protect my towers, I can roam and get my teammates fed, I can keep people alive as long as I can during a group fight, usually sacrificing myself in the process, but if I am unable to play good enough to kill the enemy team 4v5 several times in a row I automatically lose the game.

I know thats how league is, games like this are always very common, but it doesnt feel good to be on either side when a game is just abruptly ended because of 1 person, even the enemy team was mixed between trash talking our team and wondering how its fair for us to lose just because of that 1 instance despite our efforts.

Going into 1 game like this reminded me what im getting into when i play ranked and already this season i think I`ve had enough. Flame me for being/staying low rank, atleast i get to keep my soul down here.
